The Ingredients
  • 4-8 Jumbo sea scallops by @bluetideca
  • 4-8 pieces of bacon
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps to follow

  • STEP 01

    Defrost scallops and pat dry with a paper towel

  • STEP 02

    Season scallops with salt and pepper

  • STEP 03

    Cook bacon in frying pan until cooked but still pliable

  • STEP 04

    Remove bacon add olive oil to frying pan

  • STEP 05

    Sear scallops until golden brown

  • STEP 06

    Remove scallops from heat and wrap bacon around using bamboo sticks or toothpicks to hold together

  • STEP 07

    Brush maple syrup on top

  • STEP 08

    put in oven for 2 mins on Broil if you want bacon crispier
